ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER VICTORIAN CASTER/SHAKER ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER VICTORIAN CASTER/SHAKER!! You are Bidding on this Elegant Shaker/Caster in Very Good Condition!! Maker not traced. A very beautiful Sterling Silver Caster of gorgeous design, excellent Silversmith work. Although made in the 19thC the condition is good without visible dents or scratches. The Hallmarks are of necessity located w the Caster would be handled and thus "rubbed" leaving total identification difficult. The design on the Caster is outstanding. Although done on a small amount of Silver the artist has created an incredible sense of depth with horse, figures,shrubs and mult storied buildings appearing to have more depth than possible. The top has but a single mark designatng Sterling. This indicates construction in the late Victorian Period C.1895 London. The Top is of lovely, artistic design reteaining original beautiful, undamaged condition.Weight 58.2 grams/1.87117 troy oz. Measures 5" high and 1-5/8" wide. WILL GLADLY GIFT WRAP UPON REQUEST!!
