A few months ago I bought various antique buttons, medals, and small silver items, mostly with an Art Nouveau, figural theme, to use in making molds for some silver jewelry I'm designing. Now I've made my molds, and, since I'm not a collector of these items specifically (though many are just so unique and amazingly detailed that I keep thinking I need to become one!), I'm putting them back up for auction....they're far too wonderful just to sit in my studio drawer!This beautiful, heavy STERLING mirror depicts a bouquet of asters, daisies, and ranunculus (ranunculi??)...it is absolutely the deepest design I have seen in any silver item....it is gorgeous; you have to see it to truly appreciate it!....it has a monogram; "RMK". It is approximately 10" long and 5 1/2" wide. The silver is in good condition with only minor wear from use, except for one dent along the side. (Photo to follow) The beveled glass is in good condition with only minor silvering loss. Marked "STERLING" and "Pat'd Sept.20, 04" ~ All in all, very, very lovely! I wanted to be sure and show the dent I mentioned when I listed this mirror, which, on further inspection, is actually two (see last 2 photos)~ The first is about 1/2", and the second is about 1/4". These aren't evident looking at the mirror from above, and I hadn't noticed them until measuring it for the description
