Up for sale is this beautiful piece of antique art glass that has been part of a vast rose bowl collection that I am listing. This ivory white glass basket style rose bowl has the light translucent amber color glass for the twisted basket handle and vine that runs across the front, amber and red shades for the three leaves that stem from it, pink and white mingled glass for the flower petals, and amber for the flower centers, I originally believed was made in the Czech Republic but based on the research of previous sales of this particular bowl is attributed to Stevens & Williams, was made between 1880 and 1910 (similar to the example on reference page 71, figure 220 of "Collectible Glass Rose Bowls" by Johanna S. Billings), has a ground pontil with slightly indented bottom, has six crimps along the top, has some interior soiling (please see close ups), some light dust/soiling to the exterior (there are tiny bits of dust in and around the applied floral detail-you can see it in the close ups, it can be cleaned/removed), has a rough spot to the lower right section behind the handle (I included a close up-this may be from a piece of applied glass that came off, I just have no way of knowing for sure), has a flea bite to the center of one flower, a sharp edge to the bottom of one handle (same close up as the rough spot), a piece of
