Aubert Auctions Description An antique Symphonion disk music box with 24 disks. It appears to have original finish. There are light surface scratches but none outstanding or detracting. No repairs or other alterations. The comb has all it's teeth and mechanically it is in very good working order with clear, crisp notes. There is an approx. 4 1/2" crack on the top of the lid near the back edge and the base board is cracked all the way across the central portion, see close-ups. No other damages observed. Case measures approx. 10 3/4" wide x 8 1/2" deep x 7 1/8" high. Disks measure 7 1/2" across. The brass key pictured in it works the lock well but we also include another similar iron key that was found with it that does not turn the lock. Please see photos for further specifics.
