This is an antique kurotomesode which was probably made probably around the 1920s. It has a mirror image pattern characteristic of the era. The pattern is of cranes, wheels, chrysanthemums and waves.The kimono is partially lined in a thin ivory silk. The sleeves are also lined. The panels with the pattern are very well preserved, but the rest of the silk has a brownish discoloration from age. There are 5 chrysanthemum crests.
