Antique tapestry fragment. French in origin. Dates from the mid 1800's or earlier. Hand woven. Wool. Depicts stylized floats and leaves in vibrant colors. Colors are well represented in photos. Measurements Odd shapejust over 15 inches across the middleThe width is 14 inches from top center to bottom. Condition One medium and two smaller holes at the center. A few visible old repairs.
