From what I can find out these Theo Stroefer's published animal scenes were popular as postcards back in the 1890's (or so), and most of what I found were images of cats. This is a much larger piece of dogs which are marked "Theo Stroefer's Kunstverlag,....Nurnberg 408". A scene of about 35 puppies and one 'teacher dog' in a classroom with half of the pups causing a ruckus and half trying to learn. The colors are still very vivid and the old paper looks good with some fading mst, most notable on the back. The paper measures about 18" x 13.5" and the actual image is about 16.5" x 12.25". I will roll up and ship in a tube.Shipping includes tracking.
