Antique Thorens 4 Tune, 50 Note Cylinder Music Box Mint Condition Cosmetically & Mechanically You are bidding on a beautiful mint , well preserved antique Thorens cylinder music box, in pristine condition. Circa 1930's - 1940's. This is an original Thorens Swiss music box. The box is made of a rich solid walnut, from Switzerland. The box has 50 Notes,( teeth). The Comb and cylinder are excellent. Plays loud and clear. The top of box has an inlaid wooden shield. Thorens music boxes are no longer made. They are now in much demand, especially when in excellent / mint condition. This box is mint. The box measures approximately: 6 3/4" long, 4" wide, 3" high. Winder is on bottom. Slide the knob to the right and leave in that position and it will play all 4 tunes. If you want it to play each song individually and stop: after a song begins playing, slide the knob to the left.
