Rare Antique Tin & Glass Bird Weather Barometer Description Up for your consideration is this unique antique bird shaped weather barometer. It is made of tin and glass. There is liquid (water, I presume) in the bottom of the glass tube. It is very old and therefore shows sign of its age. The paint on the bird has flaked off in spots as shown in photos.
