This set of seven ANTIQUE TOBACCO EGYPTIENNE STRAIGHTS CIGARETTE SILKS are in great condition. The silks measure 2 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. The one flag of Spain actually has the advertisement for the cigarettes. It has the actual paper premium to mail back to get more flag silks. The flags include Germany, Dutch, Hesse,Anhault, Tuscany, Persia and Italy. Silks were put out by Butler and Butler New York at the end of the last century. The Italy flag informs buyer to peel back the flag silk from the paper and mail 25 paper backs to get the larger American flag. This is unusual to actually get the paper label. The silks also have marked on them, Factory no 20 2nd district NY. For the collector attempting to collect the set it would be nice to have the paper premium. This would be a nice addition to any collection.
