Antique Towle Pewter Pitcher made in England Measures approx. 7 1/4"H x 6"W, not including the handle. Fancy handle and throat of pitcher spout. Bottom is stamped with TOWLE PEWTER and MADE IN ENGLAND. There are three "shields" below rim near handle. One is a floral design, one a letter and one an anchor. Pitcher has a small indentation on one side but overall very good condition Towle is a very old manufacturer of English pewter but the age of this piece is unknown as it was handled down in the family.
