This interesting antique metal toy cavalry man on a horse is 2 separate pieces and when he is mounted up they stand about 3 1/8" tall x about 3 1/2" long including his sword. The base of the horse is stamped "S. Africa" underneath and the horse is made out of 2 cast sides put together. Both the rider and horse are very well detailed and the man looks like a Civil War era Union trooper. There is some wear but over all the 2 pieces are in good original condition and display very nicely. Ca. 1950s or earlier. Very unusual!
