- This vintage TRUETONE D2615 Art Deco Bakelite radio with original ivory paint is from the 1940's and fresh from a local attic. The radio is missing the large side control knob - otherwise, aside from years of grime which I've partly cleaned, the radio is solid and sound with no chips or cracks - the paint is good to better and will improve with a good cleaning - even the pushbuttons are OK. This is a classic Late Deco design with vertical grill louvers, platform type shaped base, pushbutton tuning and attractive dial. Untested, no cord - original back and the bottom screws look untouched.
