USA BIDDERS ONLY. I will only accept payment from, and ship to, residents of the USA. 's a VERY old (antique?) woman or child's headgear fez hat that's loaded with gold colored metal embroidery and stitching. It looks like a Princess hat with it's pointed top. You more in the know will know what kind of head wear this is called. It looks to be from Turkey or the Middle East. All the embroidery is hand stitched as evidenced by the stitch backs on the inside. The front part has black material under the embroidery / metalwork. The hat is made with a thick white layered fabric to make it strong and sturdy. The embroidery work has different sized gold colored (brass?) round like discs. The front has very ornate floral patterns with lined patterns along the sides and back. The back is pointed on each side bottom. This hat is NOT cracked, dry, or brittle. As you can see in my photos, the back part and around the top tip show lots of wear, rubbing, and metal loss. The white fabric has yellowed/tanned. Measurements: From the top to the forehead edge is 8-1/2". From the top down the back to an end tip is 11". The inside width is 6" (for a small head).
