Unusual covered mirror - Ottoman - late 19th century Wonderful old Ottoman embroidery in couched metallic thread decorating a small covered mirrorMeasuring 9 inches (23 cm) in diamaterCentral embroidered Tughra on both back and front covershowing some tarnish to the metal thread and some loss (please look at pictures and zoom in)The color of the velvet is now a nice even tan - but where it was covered you can see that it was a purple that has fadedThe mirror is original - on glass that shows rippling when turned the lightIt is in nice condition with almost no silver lossInternational Postage by Priority or Express mail only
