Antique old Twin Oaks Mixture tobacco humidor jar, blue underglaze printing on a white or cream colored ground. I found some references that Twin Oaks Mixture was a brand of the Monopole Tobacco Works, 1127 Broadway, Jersey City, New Jersey, and that this company dates from at least the year 1890 to at least the year 1902. Guessing at age, looks to be anywhere from late 1800s to early 1900s. These seem to be pretty scarce .This crock has 3 chips on the top rim, and one small chip on the base. There are 2 or 3 other faint hairline cracks at the top, very difficult to see. Some wear and some manufacturing flaws. Size is approximately 6 inches tall, weighs about 2 pounds.
