Antique typewriter key keys bracelet black Bakelite ******* Authentic & Unique ******** This typewriter bracelet is created with authentic antique typewriter keys from the 1920's. They are NOT the new reproduction LETTER PRESSED. I have only chosen keys that are the very best in quality. All are in great condition with no cracks, chips and the lettering is clearly legible. Depending on their previous use, they will be near mint and or very close. Keys will have patina from age which will be evidenced by a change in color from the years of previous use- no actual damage.**** Making This Bracelet**** The keys were cut from the typewriter and spend several days soaking in gentle cleaning solutions. This intense cleaning allows the years of dirt and oils to be removed and leave the keys shiny and bright. I actually remove the metal backs and work with only the keys so my bracelets are not heavy and overpowering. It can take several hours to actually construct a piece of jewelry from beginning to end, not taking into account the long cleaning process, as each piece is hand chosen to create a unique bracelet that no one else will have.**** Bracelet Forms**** Bracelet forms are 7 1/2 inches in length. These are very durable disk loop style and are well made to provide years of service. The catch is easy to secure. The bracelet lays flat on your wrist and all the keys are securely attached to the forms so you can wear them without worrying.***This Auction ***~~1920's Black Bakelite~~ This auction is for a antique basic black typewriter bracelet. These keys are shiny and bright and come from a Remington typewriter from the 1920's. This bracelet is made with eleven keys that are all black Bakelite with cream type. This is designed with several speciality keys mixed with the letters. Keys include "#3", "%5" and "2" along with a rare arrow key which takes up the place on honor in the center of the keys. The basic black is a nice choice as it can be worn with everything and the hanging crystal heart and silvertone padlock add visual interest. The type on this bracelet is clear and striking. The black keys are showcased on the silver bracelet form. The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches in length. Shipping is 3.60 and will include delivery confirmation. Insurance is 1.30 and is always optional.
