SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT NO RESERVE. RETURNS ACCEPTED WITHIN 14 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING.Years ago I bought a bunch of bows from a Cape Cod estate all coming from the workshop of AUGUST NURNBERGER addressed to" A.E. Shephard No. Eastham MA." Among them were these items.I am sending them in the original pvs tube. Will cover the original labels with my label to preserve.Very interesting 4 Pernambuco sticks of high quality bows in different stages. These must be a century old and well seasoned. A.Nurnberger Suss came to US on 1912.1- is a plank stick. Coul become a cello, viola or violin bow.29 1/4 incheslong and 91 grams.2- is an octagonal stick: ivroy tip is in palce 29 inches long, 58.5 grams. It is nearly finished and I guess is a viola bow with the strong tip.3- Also octagonal, nearly finished. No ivory tip. Is about 27 inches long and about 42 grams. Probably a cello bow or a 3/4 violin!!4- another nearly finished stick, octagonal, ivory tip is glued on and drilled. Is 29 inches long and 42.5 grams. Again either a violin or viola stick.I don't see any cracks or splits in any of them and they could be great for a bow maker.Shipping in US $20.00. Out of US $35.00. insurance not included.
