Antique Urn Shaped Wood Ballot Box dated 1861 (!!) Offered for consideration is an antique urn shaped wood ballot box. It measures about 15" tall, and is in very good condition. The lock and hinge is a replacement. There is some general wear, but no more than would be expected. I believe this was an urn or knife box originally made into a ballot box. Right under the slot is "1861" cut into the wood. Maybe the date the slot was cut? If you have any questions feel free to ask .
