This auction is for an antique, Japanese Woodblock Book that is titled "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tōkaidō". After some searching online I found that the Hōeidō edition (1833-1834), is a series of ukiyo-e woodcut prints created by, Utagawa Hiroshige after his first travel along the Tōkaidō in 1832. You can see in our photographs that the front and back cover are not attached to the book. However all the other woodblock are in still in good condition. ...
