For sale is an antique Victor VV50 Portable Phonograph. I put a record on it and cranked it and it still plays the record, but machine does need a full restoration. Appears mostly complete, appears a handle has been added to the front of the case (pic 10), this handle is pitted. Missing a screw or support that holds the arm that would hold up the lid (last pic). Lid is not connected, bottom has the complete hinge but it is missing the screws to hold it to the top. One of the two screws that holds the crank escutcheon to the case has been replaced with a poor fittings wood screw. Plated parts have tarnish/oxidation (I assume parts are brass underneath), handle and screws have rust, some have pitting. Only missing veneer in on the bottom of the case near the back edge (pic 9). Inside of the lid has some punch marks on the lower left and one small dent/indentation near the upper right (pics 6 + 7). Bottom of the reproducer has some dirt near the needle, I did not try to unscrew it to clean. - I will try to follow any special packing instructions you may haveShipping is Fedex Ground to the lower 48 states.
