Antique Victorian 10K Gold Black & White Cameo Pin Presented is an elegant, antique cameo pin from the 1880s to 1915. The black and white carved hard stone cameo shows a young woman detailed with curled hair and a lacey top. Surrounding the cameo is an applied rope border on a flat gold bezel that is engraved with detailed scrolls and flowers. The C style clasp has an interesting safety mechanism next to it. As you can see in the last photo, t is a hinged gold loop right up against the clasp, it is tight and secures the pin in the clasp until pushed back. The clasp is marked 10K. All the metal is 10 karat gold. This old piece is in superb condition, especially for its age. The designs are crisp and t are no dents, no chips or cracks to the cameo, no breaks, no splits and no repairs. The pin measures 7/8 of an inch by 1 1/8 inches.
