Up for auction is an antique finger ring. It is a tested 14K yellow gold mounting referred to as: No. H23 Ladies Tiffany, in Esterin, Moser & Co.'s 1911 publication " GEMS FROM CUTTER TO YOU " and is set with a 5mm spherical cut Robin's Egg blue turquoise stone. I would describe the stone as a even clear blue color, likely of Persian origin, set into 6 long fingered prongs which come up and around about three quarters of the stone's height. I am uncertain as to whether or not this is by design but it, the stone, while it is securely held in its mount it may be turned or 'rolled' in the setting. The inner band is marked for identification: LI immediately followed with a diamond shape, a maker's mark with which I am unfamiliar. The ring is sized between a 5.5 and 5.75 with a weight of 2.3g on a digital scale prior to packing and it is without a doubt, an exceptional piece. Please refer to photos for your take on style, coloration and condition. In excellent vintage to antique condition as is, uncleaned, without problems. Very pretty piece, the turquoise with yellow gold appearing perfectly pristine...any interest for your wearable collection of antique jewelry? The low opening serves to stimulate bidding activity and is in no way a reflection on the age, quality or condition of this little lovely, I promise! U.S. Buyers ship USPS with
