Antique Early Victorian period superb and ornate dress ring in 15 carat gold set with both Pearls and Emeralds,,condition is very good for age with the ring boasting assay markings indicating 15 carat gold,Birmingham constituance circa 1852 and the makers marking 'A.A',the face of the ring is set with three sea pearls and two cushion cut emeralds on a filigree and fluted skirt face setting,the central pearl measures 3 mm in diameter with the flanking outside pearls measuring 2 mm in diameter,the emeralds are of a gorgeous quality and colour and measure 3x3 mm, the shoulders to the ring are releifed with double bow details graduating into a plain lower shank,will benefit from a good clean and polish and there appears to be evidence to the inner shank of the ring that the piece was resized at some point in its life,the ring is in otherwise very good antique condition, the ring sizes to a UK 'O' and makes for a very fine piece of victorian jewellery that will grace any finger beautifully,.the ring is presented in original leather barrel box lined in velvet and silk in good condition for age,. ring weight : 1.7 grammes - boxed weight :7.1 grammes Please note that Royal mail have increased all costs for postal services,these prices are calculated and added to each of our auctions,we are looking into other courier solutions at this present read more
