This beautiful original antique Victorian 18ct rich yellow gold deeply plated brooch has a finely crafted nautical inspired design, with an enchanting blue silk lined glass fronted photo compartment mounted on its reverse; ready to receive a picture of a loved one.The reverse is also mounted with its original yellow gold attachment pin and clasp.This delightful antique brooch measures 33 mm diameter and weight 8.44 grams.The condition of this wonderful antique Victorian brooch is excellent; remarkable considering its age.There are no signs of damage to the beautifully crafted design or signs of wear to the deeply plated gold.The charming silk lined photo compartment is immaculate; I suspect that it has never been opened and occupied.The gold pin rests securely in its clasp
