Up for auction is a very nice antique victorian sewing box that was made in Germany. I believe that everything inside is original and is marked Germany. The only possible exception may be the thimble. The inside of the box is especially nice as you can see. The outside shows wear and handling from decades of use. The scissors are marked Karl Hasse Solingen. I believe that this was a top maker of knives and scissors back at the turn of the last century. This box measures just under 11 inches across.
