Antique Victorian 8kt 333 Solid Yellow Gold Large Baltic Amber Dangle Pendant! 5.4 Grams total weight Size and Measurements: The pendant measures including the bale 2 1/4'' long x 5/8'' wide. Bale is able to fit up to a 2.5 mm chain. Details of Style &or Stones(s): This is one of the most unique Victorian Gold Pendants that i have ever had the pleasure of selling! This beautiful pendant is BEYOND amazing! This is a fantastic example of the lovely glowing orange Baltic amber with 8k yellow gold pendant. Light in weight but large in size. The amber has stunning inclusions that fracture throughout the entire stone leaving large disk like designs that reflect light wonderfully. The gold has a very simple design that is elegant towards the amber and is tightly in place with the cabochon. Each part of the gold bale is completely soldered together and will not fall off when wearing it. The amber its self has a nice natural cut. It is almost like a tear shaped cut. It is magical to think about such a piece of jewelry that is millions and millions of years old. Mother nature created this piece of art work and it truly is a stunning example of what our wold can make. This piece of jewelry will be best suited with a simple or a soft twist rope chain. This beautiful pendant would of been custom made for a very wealthy lady of the day. She would of had this custom made based on her specifications and the style of the period.
