Here is a beautiful and early vase with a diamond sort of imprint pattern. It measures almost 6.5" high and is 4.25" across at the top. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The bottom has some scuffing where the vase sat...the pontil is smooth and concave. I have been told that this was made by Mt. Washington glass company, but I am unsure. I do know that it is much older than the crackle sort of glass that was popular from the 1940's to 1960's and made by Blenko and others. This one came from an estate in Connecticut and the woman who owned it said that she inherited it from her grandmother. A classic tale, I know, but this is what she said and I did find several similar pieces on Worthpoint that confirmed the age and Victorian attribution. I'm sure you glass collectors will know what it is for sure! Winner to pay exact shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
