You are bidding on an Antique Victorian Burl Mahogany Sidelock Tall Dresser Chest of Drawers. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. This is American made in the 19th Century and is Circa 1880. It has a total 5 drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have a nice floral pattern etched into the brass itself. It has a side latch with circular mortise locks that flips open and locks the drawers in place. Al the drawers have beautiful burl walnut inlay over mahogany drawers that are beautiful graduated and recessed. It has a beautiful and exotic flame crotch burl walnut and mahogany wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is amde today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 34 inches wide, 45 1/4 inches high and approx 19 1/2 inches deep.
