Up for auction is this STUNNING antique Italian Victorian era carved cameo conch shell lamp with finely detailed scene of Mount Vesuvius smoking in the distance, large columns, tall trees, and a pretty private beach / lagoon with sailboat.The three footed base features lovely mermaids and looks to be made of solid bronze or other non-iron metal.I just put in a brand new replacement LED bulb so it should last quite some time! Tested and works as you can see :)A functional work of handmade art!Measures 8" inches tall and feet measure 5" inches wide (20.3 cm, 12.7 cm).
