Presented to you is a set of graduated pre-ban elephant ivory beads. These have wonderful patina, with cross hatching present. The beads could us a cleaning. I will let you do that. T are some people that wish not to clean ivory so I will leave them alone. They are in great shape with no large cracks or splits. These are ready to wear. These Estate carved ivory beads are graduated in size. The largest bead is a whopping 16 mm. The smallest beads are 6 mm. The barrel clasp along with 3"of beads on each end might be bone. So if we do the math 32-7= 25" is guaranteed antique pre-ban elephant ivory. My guess is that some w along the way a longer strand was desired and some other beads were added.
