ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CREAM & GOLD RELIGIOUS "JESUS" CHALICE COVER VEIL c1900 Description Wonderful antique early 20th century chalice cover or veil, which has been produced from cream watered fabric, with gold woven trim to the edge. The veil has been beautifully hand embroidered to the bottom edge with "Jesus" with floral detail . AGE The cover would date to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900. CONDITION The cover is in a very good condition for age, with no holes or tears, although there are one or two faint brown spots to the cream fabric. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
