Antique Victorian Easter Egg Hand Blown Milk Glass NR Presented for auction is a lovely antique Victorian Hand Blown Matte Finish Milk Glass Hand Painted Egg. T his is a large egg from the 1890's, it is approximately 8" in length, and measures about 13 1/2 inches around the egg. It has a beautiful poem on the front and a floral motif that looks like Dogwood. In very good original condition. T is some paint missing and t is a rough edge w the egg was snapped from the pontil. It has no chips, cracks, or restorations. A lovely addition to the Easter Egg collection. The poem reads: Tho life be sorrowful Sometimes & dreary Bi de with us Take of the joy that comes With Easter Day Scatter Its Sweetness Over Thy Way.
