I have never seen a black paper motto and a punch paper mourning together! This is a one of a kind! The punch paper "Remember Me" is in excellent condition with no stains, tears or missing thread. Please note that the white on top of some of the letters is actual white thread. The black paper is also in excellent condition with no stains or tears and the colors are bright and vivid with no fading. In the oval, is a die cut with yellow and red roses. On the bottom left hand corner is written, "Patented Feb. 27th, 1877". The frame is also in excellent condition. It retains the original lemon gold liner, wavy bubble glass and wooden back. It is put together with cut nails and all the corners are tight. It is trimmed in ebony and is quite large measuring 24 1/2" by 12". Thank you for looking.
