This auction is for a beautiful antique Victorian, densely embroidered, net lace flounce. It is in wonderful condition with no major flaws that I detect. However, there are a few tiny holes pretty much in the same vicinity in the upper portion of the plain net lace. This certainly does not detract. The net lace ground has a tight weave. The tiny holes are about 2+ per 1/16". Although the net ground may be more delicate, it is the densely embroidered areas that give it more substance. It measures approximately 33" x 10 3/4". This measurement is from the bottom edge since it does not stretch. This is not to say that it stretches a lot, just a tad. Each flower-like motif is about 5/8" round within the curved rows. This is being sold "As Is".
