We found many pieces at the same estate sale last month and this is a nice item which dates to the mid 1800's. This lion figurine has an open base and the condition is wonderful for such an old piece. This figurine will display nicely. No marking except for the number 1622 on the back bottom edge. Measures 3 3/4" from its highest point to the base. The base measures about 4" in length and 1 1/2" wide. Parian was an extremely popular item during the Victorian era the bisque was made to resemble fine marble.
