RARE!! Antique Victorian Flow Blue LARGE COVERED SUGAR BOWL; Pattern is DAVENPORT, made by Amoy (Signed on bottom; see photos). This was made circa 1844. Wonderful color, wonderful pattern and very large size! It has some age crazing; and a tiny bit of roughage on the edge of the handles, but VERY MINOR; Not at all noticeable. Only real blemish IS IN THE MAKING; it has a firing line inside the rim (see last photo); this was make at the time of firing (in the porcelain) and does not affect anything at all; and can not be see from the outside. Otherwise, Super Overall condition; no repairs, no chips, no cracks. A rare and beautiful old piece! This came from a Connecticut estate of an elderly, 90 yr old couple. This was in the woman's family. There are 2 other pieces that go with this, a Large Teapot and a tall Cream Pitcher (check my other listings if you want the set). This Covered Sugar stands 8" tall to top of finial; and is 6 1/2" wide. Don't miss this one!!! Shipping in the continental US is $19.
