Antique Victorian French 18k Rose Gold Diamond Dormeuses Earrings I am offering a very beautiful, fine pair of antique Victorian late 19c French earrings. They display very lovely goldsmith handwork. They are test as 18K rose and white gold with French eagle’s head hallmark. The goldsmith has artistically and delicately created an ornate flower shape. Grain bezel set a small .1 ½ point rose cut diamond in each earring in a square white gold frame. I think the pictures will say more than my words. The closures are Dormeuses (type of closure in French) safe and very easy to wear from the back to front. The condition is mint. They are 15mm (5/8 inch) from the top wire to the tip. The ornate flower is 10 mm diameter (3/8 inch). Antique small earrings are very rare find and sought after. This is especially true with earrings that have the front closure.
