This auction is for two lovely antique Victorian French (I believe) silk/cotton or fine delicate cotton lace trim fragments.......They are ink black in shade and are very feminine in appearance. They are both in quite good condition for their age. Both fragments have some minor threadbreaks/tiny holes/tears throughout (see all photos), but it is age-inherent and nothing that is so major that it cannot be used, nor is it really noticeable.The lace shown in Photos 4-7 shows all flaws - one is at the 8" mark and the other is at the 12.5" mark;it is much more magnified in photos than person. This measures approximately 27" x 1".The second lace fragment as shown in Photos 2-3 , has very tiny thread breaks throughout the lace, but this is not a major issue....... This measures approximately 30" x 1 3/8" (circa 1900).These are being sold "AS IS". If one wishes for absolute perfection, please note that these are at least 100 years old and are not expected to be pristine......these are non-returnable.
