This is one of the most beautiful antique victorian lamps I ever laid my eyes on. The roses look so real you can almost smell them. The colors are so vivid with a beautiful teal background at the top and a soft fushia at bottom. The roses are light pink and wine. beautiful hand painted green leaves. The side of the has scrolling in a wine color. This lamp has been used as oil lamp lighting in the past resulting in pale yellow blotches on the top globe use can see in the picture. The lamp still has the heat ring on top globe.The lamp has never been wired for electric. The lamp is an heirloom to be passed down. The lamp was painted by a very talented victorian artist. The top globe is a remarkable 11 inches tall and 12 1/2 in diameter.The lamp is a monumental 29 1/2 inches tall to the top of the chimney.
