Antique lithographed tin biscuit or cookie box. Totally unmarked, but most likely English. An old estate piece from a very good Dallas estate and with definite age. I would date it to around 1890 - 1900. Excellent condition, as the pics show. Retains around 96% of its original decoration with no overpainting or repairs. No rust, pings, or dents. Hinge, handle, and closure mechanism all secure and not loose and all working fine with no problems. The pics are very honest and show the condition well. Measures about 5.5" square and 4.25" tall and it would be considered a medium-sized biscuit tin. NO RESERVE and a very low start, a nice opportunity. Please check my other auctions for more choice pieces from luxe Dallas estates, everything at NO RESERVE and starting under $10, I'm happy to combine shipping.
