Offered below is a fabulous antique Victorian circa 1880's rose-gold filled / gilt ring with an oval cameo portraying a veiled woman - Madonna / Mary....called a rosary ring to be used when praying (see info below provided by an eBay member)! The cameo is either hardstone or glass and is a gorgeous luminous pale green and ivory. The ring has unusual metal beading all around the perimeter (see below for explanation of the purpose of these "beads"). Measurements: Size 10. Top surface measurement of 5/8 X 3/8 inches. Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition. A fine addition to any cameo lover's collection!
