You are bidding on an Antique Victorian Revival Inlaid Mahogany Sofa Parlor Club Boudior Chair. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age, beauty and design. It dates back to the 19th Century Circa 1860 American made of New York Provenance. This piece was VERY WELL made either by or attributed to Herter Brothers Furniture who has made some of the most elaborate and beautiful furnishings in the industry of the 1800s and is of THE HIGHEST quality. This is one of THE NICEST Victorian Club Chairs I have ever brought to market with beautiful carvings and inlays all throughout the piece. This piece sits on beautifully curved and carved legs with nicely splayed feet. The backrest has a nicely bowed top rail with carved bell flowers and Ebony on Satinwood inlaid floral motifs at the top of each side as well as the top of each arm rest which are all beautifully scrolled. The front of the piece has beautiful shell crested and carved floral designs with burl over mahogany inlays and ebony over Satinwood inlays with a floral garland design going down the front from each side with a nice inverted anc carved
