Antique Victorian Silver - Horse shoe Brooch - Birmingham 1890 Richard Wakefield PLEASE VIEW ALL 9 PHOTOS I HAVE PROVIDED. A stunning very good quality Victorian period solid silver horse shoe brooch. The piece is fully hallmarked - Birmingham 1890 ------ Maker Richard John Wakefield The brooch features a classic horse shoe design with a superb floral design which has crisp engraved detail. Around the outside is a nice beaded edge a couple of the beads are worn slightly and have tiny pin holes but is to be expected being over 124 years old. This is a tiny piece of silver on the front left side of the brooch it is not attached to anything so i am not sure if some of the design is missing. The fastening pin is in very good working order. Measures - 3 cm wide x 3.2 cm in height ------ Weighs 3.6 grams. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS AS I AM SELLING MANY VICTORIAN & SCOTTISH SILVER PIECES OF JEWELLERY.
