HAPPY NEW YEAR ~ IT'S 2007! WELCOME TO MY NO RESERVE AUCTION.... Antique Victorian Beveled Hand Mirror ************************ 's a WOW for sure! I have for auction a simply gorgeous Victorian hand mirror. The oval mirror is beveled and the mirror is in excellent condition. The mirror appears to be silver over brass, (t are many places that now do resilvering of old metals), and the heavily carved pattern is something to be seen. I have taken several pictures of the carving because it is just spectacular. Bluebirds and butterflies, scalloped roping, vines and ruffles. This piece just screams Victoriana. T is a bluebird on both sides of the handle and silver beading all around the mirror. This beautiful mirror measures about 9 1/2" long and approximately 3 1/2" across the widest part of the mirror. Did I say WOW? I moved from a Queen Anne Victorian home w this mirror sat on my vanity and I enjoyed it for many years. I believe that we are all caretakers of things for a short period of time and then we pass them along. It is time for me to pass this beautiful piece of history along to you.
