Antique Victorian Silver Plate Syrup Pitcher Here's an other fancy piece for the Victorian table! This lidded pitcher was most likely for syrup, but could have been for honey or even cream. Notice also the heads or faces under the spout, along each side of the rim and atop the handle. A foliage design has also been chased into both sides. Marked on the underside up ins ide the pedestal with a logo for Rogers & Smith and the number 1878. Measures approximately 7-7/8" high to the top of the finial x 6" spout to handle. Estate find. Wonderful condition! No dents or repairs. Lid opens and closes easily. The silverplate is in overall very good condition and has polished up with an eye-pleasing antique patina.
