Measuring 16" long by 7 1/2" by 5 1/4" tall, this Victorian-period Swiss Cylinder Music Box plays 8 tunes, but we are missing the original tune card. It has a 6" long cylinder with a 43 tooth comb, which does have one broken tooth. In our close up photographs you can see that the on-off switch has broken-off, but we were able to wind this music box and get it to play by manually switching it on. It played, but did stop and go intermittently. I am sure a cleaning or oiling would fix this problem. This Victorian-period Music Box has a faux Rosewood grain painted case and in our photographs you can see that there is some edge and surface wear. There is also a thin piece of inlay missing from the left side of the cover.......
