Antique Victorian Yellow Gold Filled Cross Locket Circa 1900 This locket is lovely! T is a cross with paste stones on the front. The back is plain. T are 2 stones missing and the other stones have darkened with age. The missing stones could easily be replaced. T is still sparkle in the stones. It measures 1 1/8 of an inch in diameter. The locket opens and closes perfectly. T is the slightest amount of play in the hinge. All of the inside hardware is long gone. The locket is signed "WH&CO". They were the manufacturers of fine quality jewelry in the late 1800's into the early 1900's. The overall finish is good other than minor surface scratches from years of wear. This is really a beautiful antique piece! *Please note that the jewelry I sell is antique and in some cases shows wear to the finish.
