Antique Victorian Yellow Metal Muff GUARD Long Chain Necklace 51 Inches Long appoxThis particular antique / vintage chain / necklace is yellow metal ... It's a rich yellow colour. It is a beautifully crafted long chain commonly known in England as a Guard or Muff chain. This type of chain was worn by ladies round their neck to hang a locket, a muff or even a watch. There is a barrel lock clasp. The chain is an oval belcher link. A genuine antique chain does not come up for auction often – so do not miss this lovely example if you like something a bit different. An extremely usable piece to be treasured by its new owner. Weighs in at a healthy 30 grams approx. Measurements: 51 inches long approx. Condition: In fairly good Vintage condition, .
