Queen Victoria was the ruling monarch for this time period (1837-1901) hence the name (Victorian).Filigree metal working has been around for thousands of years, however was perfected by the Phoenicians and Etruscan civilizations. It involves stamping out a design in your metal and hand bending and twirling until your design in formed, it is considered one of the most difficult metal working processes.This beautiful bracelet includes exceptional metal working throughout. The design includes extensive filigree work around the base of the bracelet all the way around, and inside of the designs as well! The designs feature beautiful strands of gold tilted silver that flow around each other in a stunning pattern creating a gorgeous style for the bracelet.The bracelet measures 7" long by just under 1" in width at the top.
